Welcome to my luminous and blissful dreamscape :)
The design inspiration stems from my introverted desire to escape reality and immerse myself in the comforting embrace of dreams. I hope to rediscover my confidence through the serene and airy ambiance of the dream world. I use lightweight, translucent fabrics, complemented by warm weaves, to create the main elements of my dreams: falling petals, flowing water, and butterflies. These elements reflect the dreamy and elusive beauty of my subconscious.
Conversely, I use predominantly white hues, straight-line folds, and fabrics reminiscent of pajama elements to represent the dull emptiness of reality.
The collection encompasses three stages of the dream: the first stage, characterized by the sweet and cozy sensation upon entering the dream; the second stage, where the joy of the dream gradually takes over, and one becomes entranced by its beauty; the third stage, where the dream teeters on the brink of returning to reality. The dreamer is about to wake up, yet reluctant to do so, thus diving back into the dream. This completes a cycle.
Dreamers, let us embark on this journey together.

I explored pleated fabrics, focusing on drape over texture. I sourced two fabrics with different drapes and transparency, adding complexity to my design. Inspired by Issey Miyake’s technique—where pleats are created by calculating shrinkage pre-sewing and using special machines for pressing—I attempted to develop my own sewing connection technique.
My concept draws on surrealism, especially the dreamlike qualities found in Rafael Silveira's and Salvador Dali’s works. Silveira's use of exaggerated colors and emotional expression inspired me, and Dali's melting effect led me to incorporate flowing water and melting flowers, enhancing the dreamlike essence.
In my crochet research, I experimented with various patterns and colors, opting for a grid pattern to maintain fluidity. To enhance the piece’s airy quality, I spaced out flowers atop the grid base, allowing for a delicate, flowing structure.
